A shocking incident has come to light after being captured on CCTV, in which a car allegedly driven by Assamese actor Nandini Kashyap hit a two-wheeler, resulting in the death of a 21-year-old man. The incident happened at Dakkhingaon area in Assam’s Guwahati in the early hours of Friday. Nandini was reportedly detained on Tuesday after the youth, Samiul Haque, passed away while undergoing treatment. Her arrest was officially recorded on Wednesday, following which Nandini was produced in court.

According to news agency PTI, CCTV footage of the accident showed that not only was she speeding at the time, but did not even stop to check on the victim. Eyewitnesses claimed that she fled the scene immediately. She was, however, chased down and confronted by Samiul Haque’s friends.
