Saiyaara box office collection day 13: The Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda-starrer Saiyaara, which has been playing in theatres for nearly two weeks, is emerging as the biggest hit of the year. The film has made Rs 273.5 crore nett in India in 13 days, as per industry tracker Sacnilk. The film’s worldwide collection currently stands at Rs 413.75 crore. On Wednesday, its 13th day in the cinemas, the film made Rs 7 crore.

The Mohit Suri directorial surprised the industry with its massive opening of Rs 21.5 crore. During its first weekend, the film made Rs 83.25 crore, which was quite unexpected, especially since it doesn’t feature established stars. Audience appreciation on social media helped the film even further as it ended its first week run with Rs 172.75 crore. Saiyaara’s second weekend was just as promising, as the film made Rs 74.5 crore, and while it has registered a small dip in collections in the last three days, it remains to be seen if that will slow down the film’s overall pace.
